Early on in my education, I decided that helping others with their oral care and dental health was what I wanted to do with my life. This was a time when very few women were practicing dentistry. I endured a challenging move from Poland to Canada and started my career practicing in the Toronto area. Eventually I opened my own practice in Burlington, Ontario – Maple Mews Dental!

The space that is now Maple Mews Dental was just an empty spot in the Maple Mews Plaza until October 1996. That’s when we opened and began welcoming patients. It’s hard to believe that 25 years have passed!

On the first day we opened, I remember being grateful that people trusted me to provide them with the dental care they needed. To this day, I am thankful for every single person that has visited Maple Mews Dental and entrusted our team with their oral health care, whether it was for a single visit or for numerous visits over many years. Many of you have been with me since the very beginning and have trusted me to care for your children, and now your grandchildren.

I never imagined the connections I would make while helping our community with their dental and oral health care. I have had the privilege of seeing families grow from one generation to the next and have been honoured to celebrate so many achievements and milestones including births, graduations, marriages.

To my patients of many years and to those that have more recently partnered with Maple Mews Dental: thank you for giving my team and I the privilege of taking care of your oral health needs. As I reflect over the last 25 years of providing dental care in the Burlington community, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your loyalty and support.
