Dental Appointments

Dental Care in Canada has been on hold, and as other provinces open to provide dental care, we know we too will be seeing you again soon! As mentioned in our last newsletter, we are very hopeful that we will be seeing patients in June!

Many of you are wondering how we will schedule when we are open and if your dental treatment will be in Phase 2 of dental services that we can offer to patients. We will let you know as soon as we know the answer. What we do know, is that patients with urgent dental care will be prioritized, including patients with broken or fractured teeth and that have been dealing with situations involving dental pain. We have a very accurate list of all patients that have had dental emergencies over the past two months, that need urgent treatment as well as all cancelled dental appointments. We will be in touch as soon as we can to schedule/ reschedule your appointment. If you have an urgent dental situation, please let us know so that we can schedule accordingly.

Your Dental Visit

Although social distancing is impossible while providing dental treatment, the principle of social distancing is of utmost importance and we ask that you respect social distancing. We will schedule appointments with staggered times to limit the number of patients in the office at any one time.

The infection control and prevention procedures that have always been in place at Maple Mews Dental will continue with additional measures for the safety of our patients and team. Our team will wear masks, glasses and gloves as you are used to seeing, with the addition of gowns and faceshields for our clinical team members.

We love to chat with you at your dental visits, but please understand that during this time, coversations will be reduced. We continue to be committed to maintaining communication regarding your dental treatment , and are happy to organize telephone and video conferences to ensure that all treatment is throughly discussed, understood and all questions answered in a safe environment for all .
