We know you have many questions about your dental visit and the new Covid19 protocols. We want your visit to be stress free! Some of the most frequent questions we are asked are:

I would like to schedule my dental appointment, are you still only seeing emergency patients ?

We are open offering all dental services; essential, as well as non-essential and elective dental care. We can schedule dental treatment with Dr Rzepka , Dr Parker, Dr Hassanali ( periodontist) as well as appointments with our hygiene team Chris,Lori, Steph and Michelle.

Is it safe to visit your office?

At Maple Mews Dental, we have always followed strict infection control protocols. During Covid19, our procedures have been enhanced to follow the new guidelines from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and Ontario Dental Association. We have many extra safety measures in place for the safety of our patients and team .

How do I social distance at the dental office ?

While having dental treatment it is impossible to social distance. However we ask that you social distant when entering the office and exiting after your appointment.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Yes, we ask that all patients/persons entering the office wear a mask . We ask that you remove the mask only when receiving dental treatment .

Does your team have proper PPE?

WE do! All team members have the necessary PPE for every patient procedure. As a team we actually decided to wear higher level PPE than recommended to ensure the safety of our patients and team.

Why do you have to ask me about COVID19 symptoms before my appointment?

Every patient must complete the Covid19 consent and screening before each dental visit. We must assure that patients are symptom free and consent to dental treatment during this pandemic before providing dental treatment .If we have any concerns the patient’s appointment would be rescheduled.

I don’t have a printer to complete the screening form at home .

You do not need a printer. Click on the link in the email that we will send you the day before your appointment, answer the questions, sign on your keyboard./screen and click on submit! Super easy!

Do I have to wait in my car when I arrive for my dental appointment?

Please call the office as soon as you arrive for your dental visit. In order for us to maintain social distancing in the office, we must limit the number of people in the office at one time. We will be ready for you at your scheduled time, and we will let you know when you should come into the office.
